Disclosure of revised MSDS in accordance with amendments to the Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances, etc.

In accordance with the revision of the Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances, etc., the MSDS of the products being handled have been revised and registered for each item in the product introduction on the website, so please refer to it.

The major amendments to the law are as follows:

① Establishment of a new definition of substances of unknown hazardous properties in accordance with Article 2 of the Chemical Safety Act
② Amendment to Article 29 (Provision of Information on Chemical Substances) of the Chemical Control Act related to substances of unknown hazardous properties
③ With the revision of the Chemicals Control Act and the Chemicals Control Act, the classification of toxic substances has been differentiated into acutely hazardous substances to the human body, chronically hazardous substances to the human body, and ecologically hazardous substances.

-Applicable target
① After August 7, 2025, the date of enforcement of the revised law, the MSDS of chemicals that are classified as substances of unknown hazards or products containing such chemicals among the chemicals reported to the Ministry of Environment in accordance with the Chemicals Control Act
② MSDS for products containing substances harmful to the human body

*What is a substance of unknown toxicity?
This refers to a substance that has been registered and reported in accordance with Article 10 of the Chemicals Control Act, but whose hazards are difficult to confirm due to reasons such as the absence of data related to hazards, and that falls under the standards set forth in the Ministry of Environment Ordinance (Appendix 1-2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Chemicals Control Act).

– Grace period for MSDS preparation items and descriptions, etc.
The legal regulations for substances of unknown toxicity (Item 15) must be implemented immediately. However, the requirements for substances hazardous to humans and other health may be deferred until July 1, 2026, pursuant to Safety Notice (No. 2025-19). Furthermore, as a special exception, material safety data sheets may be prepared in the previous format until June 30, 2026.
